Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery here with this is recreation of Byredo Colour Sticks. I wanted to model the simple, yet beautiful design of this product. In particular, I focused on recreating studio lighting, as well as the pigmentation of the colour sticks in the shades Dravite, Vienna, and Ultramagnetic with the help of C4D's new Redshift flake shader. Throughout the process I improved my understanding lighting, intentional poly count when modeling, and finding strong reference.
